LCBO to kick off Deflate the Elephant social responsibility holiday campaign

The LCBO kicks off the “Deflate the Elephant” social responsibility holiday campaign December 7, encouraging Ontarians to plan ahead, get home safely and help prevent drinking and driving.

LCBO President & CEO Bob Peter and Co-op Cabs General Manager Peter Zahakos will introduce the new holiday “elephant taxi “promotion, as well as a new app to help the responsible host plan a safe and memorable gathering from start to finish.

“Deflate the Elephant” acknowledges that drinking and driving can often be the “elephant in the room” – an awkward topic to deal with at a party or get together.

The launch takes place Friday, December 7 at 10:30am at the LCBO’s Queen’s Quay location at 2 Cooper Street in Toronto.
