LCBO workers vote 95% in favour of strike, negotiations continue
Ontario’s 7,000 LCBO workers are 95% in-favour of striking if contract negotiations fail, a result of a strike-vote spearheaded by the Ontario Public Service Employees Union (OPSEU)
Contract talks are scheduled to resume today, Wednesday, April 10.
“It is not unusual for a union to have a strike vote during the collective bargaining process,” said Bob Peter, LCBO president and CEO, quoted by the National Post.
