Left Field Brewery announces construction of East end Toronto brewery

LeftFieldBreweryAnnoucement-Jan21Toronto, ON – Left Field Brewery today announced plans in motion to build its new brewery in Leslieville, a neighbourhood in Toronto’s east end.

The brewery currently contracts its brewing operations to Grand River Brewing in Cambridge, ON.

At 6,000 sq.-ft. the new brewery space will house a 20 hectolitre brewhouse complete with attached tasting room and retail store offering beer sales in 473mL tall cans and re-fillable 750mL bottles.

“With the increased capacity afforded by having its own brewery, Left Field will offer beers for home consumption,” writes the brewery. Offerings will include Eephus Oatmeal Brown Ale, Maris* Pale Ale and 6-4-3 Double IPA and seasonals such as Resin Bag IPA.

Located at 36 Wagstaff Drive bordering Toronto’s Danforth area, the brewery is targeted to open in early 2015.

An open house will be hosted by Left Filed Brewery on Sunday, February 22 from 2-8pm at its new property.
