Left Field Brewery introduces Helles lager
Toronto – Left Field Brewery has announces its new Munich Helles-style Lager – Cannonball – is now available.
“This beer was inspired by the legendary baseball talents of Ed ‘Cannonball’ Crane who on one occasion, pitched back-to-back complete games and amazingly, also hit the game-winning home run. He led the Toronto Maple Leafs baseball club to their first international league pennant,” say Left Field founders Mark and Mandy Murphy.
Brewed using German malts, hops and yeast, Cannoball, which measures at 4.9% with 22 IBUs, offers notes of cereal grain and honey sweetness, according to Left Field.
Get it today at the brewery’s bottle shop in 650ml bottles and on draught at their tap room.
