Little Beasts Brewing now open in Whitby

Whitby – Little Beasts Brewing Co. has announced their soft-opening is set for this October at 2075 Forbes Street, Building B Unit 4 in Whitby.

Founded by Erin Broadfoot (Siebel graduate, former brewer at 5 Paddles Brewing, BJCP judge, and instructor Durham College) and John Henley (Brewer, BJCP judge), the brewery features a 10 hectolitre brewhouse, tap room, and bottle shop.

The name – Little Beasts – honours brewers’ yeast. “It’s the little beasts that create the final product that we all love,” says Broadfoot.

Beers available at opening include Experiment Golden (5.2%) – hopped with El Dorado and Cascade; Experiment Session IPA (4.5%) – hopped with Chinook, Centennial, Summit, and Amarillo to 50 IBU; and La Petite Duchesse Table Saison (4.5%).

Little Beasts Brewing opens Friday October 20, 2017.

Operating hours are Fri 4-7pm and Sat-Sun 12-5pm.
