Local 7 West Coast Session Lager now available

Bracebridge – The Griffin Pub & Events Co. announced today its newest Local 7 series beer – West Coast Session Lager – is now at the LCBO and rolling out to Local 7 member bars.

“In 2014, in the comforting embrace of a local pub, a small group of publicans quietly gathered. Brought together in support of The Griffin SESSION Toronto, and the Ontario Craft Beer Week, this exclusive group of bar owners set out to create a beer as unique as the group itself,” the group describes.

The Local 7 members include The Auld Spot, Bar Hop, Bar Volo, Bryden’s, C’est What?, The Only Cafe and WVRST.

Brewed with Idaho 7, Sorachi Ace, and Centennial hops, the West Coast Session Lager measures at 4.5% offering notes of lemon, lime and tropical fruit.

Brewmaster Sam Corbeil, who developed the recipe for the Local 7, said today at the official beer launch that he designed the beer “For drinkin’, not thinkin’.”

It is available in 473ml cans for $3.25 at the Summerhill LCBO as of today and will hit most Toronto LCBO locations beginning this Thursday.
