Local brewers help fight breast cancer with ‘Beer 4 Boobs’ charity event

beer4boobsThe second annual ‘Beer 4 Boobs’ charity even, presented by Cheers for Charity, takes place in April in both Toronto and Hamilton with proceeds supporting PYNK, a breast cancer program for young women under 40 at Sunnybrook Health Sciences and Breast Cancer Support Services, an organization providing comfort and support to women and families living with breast cancer in the Greater Hamilton & Halton regions.

A series of unique one-off kegs and casks will be produced specifically for the event which will be available at both venues.

“Every beer on tap at during these two events will be brewed by a member of Ontario’s brewing industry. Brewers from: Amsterdam Brewing Co., Black Oak, Mill Street, Oast House, Railway City, Beyond the Pale, Camerons, Niagara College, The Ship, Grand River, Bellwoods, Silversmith, Trafalgar, Indie Ale House, Cheshire Valley, Granite and a few others have all generously donated their time, ingredients, and pilot systems to collaborate special one-off beers to be served only at the “Beer 4 Boobs” events,” according to the event organizers.

Tickets are $25. The Toronto event takes place Sunday, April 7 at The Rhino from 2-8pm while the Hamilton version runs from 1-6pm on Sunday, April 14 at The Casbah.
