Maple-based beers begin rolling out in March
The maple syrup-based brews are in full swing for the month of March.
Maple Porter from Nickel Brook Brewing Co. of Burlington, ON is now back on LCBO (#334425) shelves and at the brewery retail store. At 6% ABV and 27 IBUs, this porter incorporates five malts in conjunction with pure dark Canadian maple syrup and German magnum and UK fuggles hops. Maple Porter retails for $8.95 per 750 mL bottle.
Trafalgar Ales & Meads of Oakville, ON returns with their Maple Bock now at LCBOs (#45880) in 650mL bottles for $4.95 each. The 6.5% German bock-style uses pure Ontario maple syrup after fermentation and is lagered for two months.
Additionally, Barley Days Brewery of Prince Edward County, ON previously announced availability of their Sugar Shack Ale.
Lake of Bays’ Spring Maple Belgian Blonde and Mill St.’s Spring Thaw Maple Ale are also currently available.
