Mascot Brewery launches new in-housed brewed beers
Toronto – Mascot Brewery has launched their line of house-brewed beers at their restaurant and rooftop beer garden at 31 Mercer Street in Toronto.
Mascot Brewery opened in April 2015 offering house-label beers brewed by Duggan’s Brewery including a pilsner and hefeweizen. Heading brewing operations on Mascot’s new ~15 hectolitre brewhouse is Siobhan McPherson, previously of Burdock and Mill Street Brewery.
Beers currently available on draught include a saison, blonde, extra pale ale, mango sour, and pilsner, followed this week by a summer stout, APA and Funky saison.
McPherson notes that Mascot packages its beer in a shipping container, due to location limitations being in Toronto’s Entertainment District.
A retail store with cans, 500ml and 750ml bottles is slated to open in a few weeks, while an LCBO release of Mascot’s pilsner is coming soon.
