Mash Padding Brewing to open in Brantford in January
Brantford, ON – A new 3,000 sq.-ft. unit in Brantford’s formerly industrial Artisan’s Village will be home to the area’s newest craft brewery, Mash Paddle Brewing Co., at 111 Sherwood Dr., Unit 3.
Lead by husband and wife Teddy and Nicole Scholten with brewmaster Matty Buzanko, Mash Paddle Brewing is targeting a launch in January 2015, reports Brant News. Focus will be on four core beers including a dark ale, pale ale, stout and IPA.
Seasonal beers will also be available and could include flavours like pumpkin spice in the winter with a cherry or peach infusion in the summer brewed using fruit from local farmers, says Brant News.
Brantford City Council has indicated their support for the brewery, which plans to offer a tasting room and retail store on site.
