Mill St. adds Portage Cream Ale to upcoming Spring Sampler Mix Pack
Toronto, ON – Mill Street Brewery today announced details for its upcoming seasonal Spring Sampler Mix Pack.
This year’s mix pack features returning Spring Thaw Maple Ale – an Irish Red Ale variant measuring at 5% ABV and Portage Ale – a cream ale brewed to 5% ABV.
Spring Thaw Maple Ale is brewed with Lanark County maple syrup and in-house smoked malt yielding a slightly sweet, hardwood- smoked character, according to Mill Street. Portage Ale, described as an “old school cream ale”, is twice fermented first using an ale yeast followed by a lager yeast during secondary fermentation. Mill Street trucks in water directly from Ottawa to accurately match the flavour profile from its Ottawa Brewpub origin.
The Spring Sampler Mix Pack will be available in late February at LCBOs and through Mill Street Brewpub Toronto and Ottawa locations.
