Mill St. announces 12 Casks of Christmas lineup

Toronto, ON – Mill St. Brewery today announced its 12 Casks of Christmas lineup brewed specially for the upcoming annual Toronto Christmas Market in Toronto’s Distillery District.

Beginning on November 28, 2014 and running until December 21, 2014, here are the 12 casks as outlined  by Mill St.:

Holiday - Cask Calendar - R61. November 28 – Partridge in a Pear Tree

Tankhouse Ale – Infused with Pear We’ve taken the pears from this Partridge’s tree and infused them into our classic Tankhouse Ale. Complementing the deep malt flavours and Cascade Hops in this wonderfully drinkable full-bodied brew.

2. November 29 – Turtle Doves

Chocolate Orange Stout – Nothing says the second day of Christmas like this classic holiday flavour pairing. Sure to satisfy beer and chocolate lovers with this rich orange infused chocolate stout.

3. December 4 -French Hens

Minimus Dubbel – Appealing to the French in these Hens, this classic dark-brown Belgian abbey-style beer is brewed with traditional candy sugar, aged in hops and French Oak Spiral infused.

4. December 5 – Calling Birds

Chai Porter Cask-conditioned and infused with chai spices, cardamom, cinnamon, ginger and peppercorns, this dark roasted beauty will have these Birds Calling for more when this cask runs dry.

5. December 6 – Golden Rings

Gingerbread Porter – A complex porter spiced with ginger, cinnamon, allspice, cloves and nutmeg. This winter warmer will leave curtains of Golden Rings on your glass with each delicious sip.

6. December 11 – Geese A-Laying

Winter’s Ale – Leave our Canadian Geese a-laying and stay warm this Winter with the spiced heat of this 7% traditional English-style “Old Ale”, infused with a blend of cinnamon, ginger, allspice and cloves.

7. December 12 – Swangs A-Swimming

Spiced Stout – Upping the Christmas anti on our stout by cask-conditioning and adding cinnamon, cloves, chili flakes and black peppercorns. ‘Tis not the season for a swim but it surely is for sipping on this roasted dark brew.

8. December 13 – Maids A-Milking

Chocolate Milk Stout – You can thank the Milking Maids for the lactose in this chocolate stout. Lactose gives this cask body and fullness beyond your typical brew. Wonderfully indulgent on a cold winter’s eve.

9. December 18 – Ladies Dancing

Spiced Wit – We’ll have more than 9 ladies dancing for this spiced winter twist on a Mill Street Summer classic. We add more orange peel, cloves and black peppercorns to the coriander, and special yeast in the cask-conditioned version of our Belgian-Style wheat beer.

10. December 19 – Lords A-Leaping

Tankenstein – The twisted 8% big brother of our classic Tankhouse Ale will have lords a-leaping when they get a taste of the bold grapefruit and pine flavors from the cascade hops in this American Style IPA.

11. December 20 – Pipers Piping

Peppermint Stout – Pipers will be piping for peppermint. A fresh wintery cask-conditioned stout infused with real peppermint.

12. December 21 – Drummers Drumming

IPA – Drumroll please! Our award winning British-style IPA, cask conditioned, just as it’s meant to be served. Crisp hop bitterness, slight roasted notes and a lingering finish
