Mudtown Station Brewpub to open in Owen Sound

Owen Sound – A former CP Rail station, designated Ontario Heritage building, in Owen Sound has been approved for repurposing as a brewery and restaurant called Mudtown Station, according to Bayshore Broadcasting.

A $1.3 million investment will be split founder Harold Kloeze and the city of Owen Sound.

Kloeze’s daughter, Morag – currently brewmaster at Tobermory Brewing Co. and Niagara College Brewmaster and Brewery Operations Management graduate – will be brewmaster.

The brewpub’s opening is targeted for the end of 2017, located at 1198 1st Ave East.
