Muskoka Brewery releases Winter Beard cellar-aged Vintage Double Chocolate Cranberry Stout

picture of single boxMuskoka Brewery today announced a new edition release of its Winter Beard cellar-aged Vintage Double Chocolate Cranberry Stout. Aged upright in a dark, temperature controlled cellaring area for 1-year, the aging process allows for the beer to mature in taste and complexity, according to Muskoka Brewery.

Brewed with roasted dark chocolate malts, real cocoa, 70% dark chocolate and locally harvested cranberries, Winter Beard measures in at 8% ABV

“The concept for this beer was to create a limited run brew, made with unique ingredients, with the ability to cellar and improve with age,” explains Gary McMullen, Muskoka Brewery founder.

Winter Beard is available in limited quantity through the LCBO, select Beer Stores and the Muskoka Brewery Retail Store in 750mL bottles for $13.95 each.
