New Amsterdam Barrel House to focus on wild farmhouse ale
Toronto – Amsterdam Brewery’s second incarnation of their BrewHouse brewpub will be called Amsterdam Barrel House and feature an onsite nanobrewery.
Just a short walk from Amsterdam’s production brewery in Toronto’s Leaside neighbourhood, the new Barrel House brewpub – in the former Against the Grain Urban Tavern space at at 87 Laird Drive – will feature rooftop and ground level patios and full kitchen.
A 3 hectolitre Ontario-made brewhouse has been installed at the Barrel House focusing on farmhouse-style beers and developing an in-house wild yeast strain.
The Amsterdam Barrel House is slated to open later in 2017.
