New brewpub Abe Erb coming to uptown Waterloo this October
Waterloo, ON – A new brewpub – Abe Erb Brewery & Restaurant – is slated to open in uptown Waterloo at 15 King St. South this Fall.
The 15 King St. South brewery is an effort between Waterloo residents Tony and Rob Theodosiou.
“It’s a brewery so we’re about fresh beer, and one of our taps is going to be tapped right into the brewery. So when you want to come in and grab the freshest beer you can probably get, you’re going to come to that one tap and pour beer right from that vessel that’s going to be hanging right above your head,” says Tony Theodosiou to The Cord.
The name, Abe Erb, stems from Waterloo’s Mennonite settler Abraham Erb.
Details regarding menu and the potential for an on site retail store were not immediately available.
Opening is scheduled for October 2014.
