New Creemore brewpub Batch to open March 2016
Toronto – Entering its fourth brewery iteration at 75 Victoria St, the new Six Pints Specialty Brewing Co. brewpub is scheduled for a March 2016 (formerly Feb) opening under the name Batch.
When Six Pints suddenly shuttered its Molson-owned Beer Academy concept in December 2014, it announced it would reopen initially in Fall 2015 possibly under the Creemore Springs banner.
Following a similar structure to other large brewpubs, Six Pints has enlisted Icon Legacy Hospitality to head its kitchen operations; FAB Concepts operates the Mill St Brewpubs/Beer Hall and Urban Dining Group heads Amsterdam BrewHouse.
The seemingly plagued location has existed in brewery form for nearly the last 27 years: Denison’s Brewing (1989-2003); Duggan’s Brewey (2009-2011); Beer Academy (2012-2014).
The 2500 sq-ft space opens March 7, 2016.
