Toronto – Northern Maverick Brewing Co. is now open in Toronto at 115 Bathurst Street.

Founded by Jason Kaptyn, the 11,000 sq-ft brewpub features a 10 hectolitre brewhouse headed by Andrew Crowder, formerly of Muskoka Brewery, and a 400-seat with a menu developed by Mark Cutrara (Bar Hop), and retail store.

Current draught beer offerings include an IPA, gose, APA, hefeweizen, dry-hopped sour, Belgian-style table beer, white IPA, farmhouse-style ale, and lager.

The brewery’s Handcrafted Lager launched through the LCBO earlier this month in 473ml cans.

Additionally, a second floor 70-seat brewers’ library is being built to house a collection of brewing books and a instructional classes.

Northern Maverick is operating on a soft launch basis until its grand opening on September 26, 2017.
