Ontario beer and wine tax to generate $574 million in 2013-14
The 2013 Ontario Budget was revealed today by the Ontario Ministry of Finance, which included the projected revenue generated by Ontario’s beer and wine tax to be $574 million for 2013-2014.
Ontario’s beer and wine tax produced $561 million in revenue during 2011-2012.
In March, the Ontario Ministry of Finance released specific details outlining the beer tax rates for 2013-2014.
