Ontario earmarks $2.5 billion to Food and Beverage Growth FundTweet
Ontario – Ontario’s Jobs and Prosperity Fund is providing $2.5 billion over 10 years to enhance productivity, bolster innovation and grow the province’s exports, according to the Ministry of Economic Development, Employment and Infrastructure.
Part of this new fund will be directed towards the Food and Beverage Growth Fund – supporting food, beverage and bioproduct manufacturing projects that will help create and retain jobs, strengthen supply chains, increase market access, and enhance innovation and productivity.
The Food and Beverage Growth Fund will supportsprojects across the province with more than $5 million in eligible costs.
It was confirmed by that projects involving beverage manufacturing including alcoholic beverage manufacturing are able to apply.
