Ontario gov releases Guide to Starting a Craft Brewery


Ontario – The Government of Ontario and the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA) has published their Guide to Starting a Craft Brewery in Ontario.

The free 58 page guide covers topics ranging from business plans, financing, marketing, branding, insurance, brewing, government support and requirements, brewery design, packaging, labelling, retail and distribution, grants, and more.

“The Craft Beer Industry is Thriving in Ontario! Whether you are new to the industry and starting a business or are expanding your existing operation, you will find information to help you
succeed in the new guide. It includes expert advice and link to programs, services, industry contacts and resources in Ontario,” explains OMAFRA.
