Ontario’s yeast specialist is growing

Guelph – Escarpment Laboratories – Ontario’s only cultivator and supplier of brewers’ yeast said today they are doubling their cultivation capacity with the addition of new yeast propagators at their Guelph labs.

The company supplies both Canada’s commercial brewers and homebrewers with liquid yeast – including varieties such as Vermont Ale, Foggy London Ale, Cali Ale, and Old World Saison Blend. The lab notes they can also grow fresh yeast to order and also provide quality control and lab consulting services.

The group was founded in 2015 by University of Guelph graduates Angus Ross, Richard Preiss, and Nate Ferguson.
