PicoBrew opens Toronto office for Canadian brewers
Toronto – PicoBrew, creators of the Zymatic – billed as world’s first all-grain, fully-automatic, beer brewing appliance – has opened a Toronto-based office, according to Ontario inCraft Magazine.
Headed by George Dyke, the Toronto location is available to Canadian brewers looking to access and test the technology – which brews nearly 10 litres of beer in 4 hours. The unit retails for $1999 USD.
Zymatic uses pre-packaged grain and hop combinations contained in PicoPaks which brewers can customize and sell to recreate their own beers.
Double Trouble Brewing is currently listed as a PicoBrew partner.
A smaller version, Pico, will be released May 2016 producing up to 5 litres of beer in 2 hours at $699 USD.
