Highlander Brew Co. has a partnered with California metalcore band Plague Vendor to produce a collaborative beer called Ox Blood Ale – each bottle features a removable label that doubles as a flexi disc – playable on any turntable- of Plague Vendor single Ox Blood.
Ox Blood Ale is available now in 650ml bottles at Highlander’s retail store and soon at select Beer Store locations.
Toronto’s Rhythm & Brews Brewing Co., who teamed up with local heavy metal band Diemonds in early June, released a special edition Never Wanna Die PA will a peel-off patch, exclusively for its launch party held this past weekend.
“Drink the beer, peel the label, and then sew on the patch. Some beers use blue mountains to tell you when its cold, ours uses a green skeleton to let you know when it’s time to party!” say brewers Andrew Byer and Kyle Smith.
