Radical Road Brewing cuts ribbon, launches with scotch whiskey barrel-aged Wee Heavy

radical-roadRadical Road Brewing Co., a joint effort contract brewery between Simon Da Costa and Jon Hodd of Black Oak Brewery, are on the eve of launching their first product – a Wee Heavy-style beer called Canny Man.

Aged 71 days in imported Scotch whiskey barrels, then bottle-conditioned and topped off with a champagne-style cork, brewer Jon Hodd expects Canny Man to cellar well, if the customer desires.

Canny Many measures in at 9.1% ABV and will be available in 750mL bottles at LCBO stores mid-January for a projected price of $10.95.
