Refined Fool gets nod for second Sarnia brewery
Sarnia – Following an unsuccessful attempt by Refined Fool Brewing Co. to expand to a second location in Sarnia, a rezoning approval has been granted for 1326 London Rd according to BlackBurnNews.com.
“I believe that moving forward at this location, they’re going to have a little more room, they’re going to be able to better manage things,” said Sarnia Councillor Bev MacDougall. “I made a couple of visits out to the site and the area this weekend and believe that these young entrepreneurs are positioning a development that will add to the area and will certainly add to our communities offerings overall. So, I would like to wish them well.”
Refined Fool’s original Davis St location will stay in tact serving as a tap room and retail store, while the upcoming location – about 5km from the existing brewery – is poised for expanded production brewing, a restaurant, retail store and tap room.
Refined Fool first opened in May 2014.
An estimated opening date was not given.
