Results in from 9th annual Ontario Legislative Beer Tasting
Toronto, ON – The Ontario Craft Brewers (OCB) today announced results from the 9th annual Ontario Craft Beer Tasting hosted at the Ontario Legislature on March 17, 2014.
The OCB was represented by 23 member breweries pouring 87 different beers for the more than 350 MPPs, MPs and guests in attendance.
“We are very proud of Ontario’s independent brewers, their high quality products and the jobs and economic stimulation they create in our province,” says Hon. Dave Levac, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario. “This annual event is always well attended and a favourite amongst Queen’s Park members and staff.”

The Speaker’s Choice: Mill Street Original Organic Lager
Golden Lagers, Pilsners, & Light Beer: Steam Whistle Pilsner
Amber Lagers, Ales & Honey Beer: Old Credit Amber Ale
Wheat Beer or Specialty: Cameron’s Rye Pale Ale
Refreshing Ales: Highlander Brew Co. Lion Grass
Malty Dark Lager or Ale: Lake of Bays Spark House Red Ale
Bold flavoured Ale, Stout or Porter: Amsterdam Boneshaker IPA
Winners will have their beers available in the Legislative Dining Room and at other Queen’s Park venues.
