Rhythm & Brews announces January 2016 launch

Toronto – Startup brewer Rhythm & Brews today announced it plans to launch in January 2016.

Founder Andrew Byer, a homebrewer, BJCP National Beer Judge, and local firefighter, worked with several professional brewers to launch the new brand which will be brewed out of Toronto’s Rainhard Brewing Co.

Its first release is Vinyl Tap, described as an “alternative lager” – a new spin on the Vienna-style lager with notes of citrus and black pepper.

“Rhythm & Brews combines the devotion to quality craft beer with the sentiment of supporting Toronto’s music industry,” explains Byer. “The company is setting the stage for creative and constructive partnerships that will inspire their “Spotlight Series” beer releases.”

Dajaun Martineau, Senior Staff Engineer at Phase One Studios in Toronto, says, “Great music is the result of collaboration. We are familiar with the pairings of lead vocalists and instrumentalists, of songwriters and producers, and can now acquaint ourselves with Rhythm & Brews as they engineer beer in the spirit of collaboration.”

Rhythm & Brews launches January 30, 2016 at Rainhard Brewing.
