Rouge River Brewing now open in Markham

Markham – Rouge River Brewing Co. has announced it will open Thursday October 27, 2016 at 8-50 Bullock Dr in Markham.
The brewery was founded by Jordan Mills, a former brewer at Mill Street Brewery in Toronto, is named for the Rouge River which flows from the Oak Ridges Moraine to Lake Ontario.
“My concept is to have a few core styles with variations on the recipes every season (Winter Pale Ale, Summer IPA, etc.) in addition to a whole lot of one-offs and other seasonal type beers,” says Mills.
Through its retail store, Rouge River Brewing will offer its Autumn Pale Ale (6.0%) brewed with new Loral hops and Chinook, and Autumn IPA (6.8%).
A tap room will open in the near future.
Initial operating hours are Thu-Fri 5-9pm and Sat 12-6pm.
