Seasonal Nutcracker Porter arrives from Black Oak
Black Oak Brewing Co. of Etobicoke, ON today announced its Nutcracker Porter holiday seasonal is back.
At 5.8% ABV, Nutcracker Porter is brewed with Canadian pale & English crystal malts paired with Northern Brewer and Hallertau hops topped up with doses of cinnamon.
Expect an ebony-coloured head offering notes of roasted coffee, figs and spice in this full-bodied, opaque porter.
New for 2013, Nutcracker Porter has transitioned from 341mL bottles to larger 650mL bottles now available through Black Oak’s retail store for $7.95 each. An LCBO release is impending.
