Second run for Beer Academy’s Cascadian Dark IPA
Beer Academy in Toronto today announced its Cascadian Dark IPA returns for a second run beginning Thursday, October 3, with noted recipe tweaks.
The Cascadian Dark IPA blends Pale Malt, Carapils, and Midnight Wheat with Pacific Gem and Cascade hops to come out at 5.8% ABV and 60 IBUs.
“Your eyes will see black, but your senses will find bright citrus, pine and zesty hop aromas and flavours”, says assistant brewer, Stephen Rich.
“The bright, clean hop bitterness will cut through spice and fat making any Indian, South-East Asian, or Blackened menu item a perfect pair. The roast character too helps add a complimenting balance to the same, but also invites grilled red meat and rich cheeses. Try classic New York Cheesecake for a surprising treat too”, suggests Rich.
Availability includes 625 mL bottles, 1.89 L growlers, and on draught at Beer Academy.
