Spearhead to unveil Big Kahuna Imperial IPA in April, looks for feedback
Spearhead Brewing Co. of Toronto, ON will unveil two versions of its upcoming Imperial IPA, Big Kahuna, at a sneak peak event planned for Friday, April 12 at Victory Cafe in Toronto, ON beginning at 6pm.
Big Kahuna Imperial IPA measures in at 10% ABV and 100 IBUs.
Two versions of Big Kahuna will be on hand – one dry-hopped with Cascade hops, typically known to impart citrus and grapefruit aromatics, and the other with Nelson Sauvin hops from New Zealand, yielding notes of Sauvignon Blanc grapes or gooseberry.
Spearhead hopes to collect drinker feedback during the event to help finalize the beer, and stressed that only a single 20l keg of each will be served.
