Spring opening planned for New Ontario Brewing in North Bay

new-ontarioNorth Bay, ON – Reviving the name of an early 1900s North Bay brewery, the New Ontario Brewing Co. plans to start its brewing operation this Spring.

A fire was responsible for the demise of the original New Ontario Brewing which operated from 1905 to 1915.

“Our name, the New Ontario Brewing Company, is a re-birth of name that existed in this town almost 100 years ago. Although locations and owners have changed,  this name of true Northern heritage, is meant to represent the proud traditions that those of us lucky enough to call this region home have come to embrace,” writes New Ontario Brewing. “It is our goal to  make quality beer from the finest ingredients in a manner that is both ecologically friendly and rooted in our community. In the end, we see this brewery as as much your brewery as it is our own.”

New Ontario Brewing will have a core lineup that includes a Cream Ale, Dark Ale, and IPA with a seasonal Blonde Ale.

More specific launch dates or location details were not immediately available.
