Lambton County – Stonepicker Brewing Co. opens on Thursday August 30, 2018 at 7143 Forest Road in the community of Forest, near the town of Plympton–Wyoming, founded by Joe and Mary Donkers and Jim and Laura Soetemans.

According to the London Free Press, the farm-based brewery is only waiting on licensing approval to open to the public.

The brewery features a 20 hectolitre brewhouse, tap room, retail store, and patio built next to barley fields that were planted in 2006.

“Most folks who have grown up in rural Ontario are familiar with the summer task of walking fields next to a farm wagon and picking up stones to prevent them from making a damaging run through the combine at harvest time,” the article explains about the name Stonepicker.

Their beer lineup includes an amber ale, oatmeal stout, lager, blonde, and more.

Operating hours are Thu 11am-7pm, Fri-Sat 11am-11pm, Sun 12-5pm.
