Summary data released for Ontario Hop Trial
Guelph, ON – A summary data poster was released today from the Ontario Hop Trial, an analysis of marketing and agronomic data collected jointly between the University of Guelph’s Department of Plant Agriculture and Department of Business in conjunction with the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture and Food and Ministry of Rural Affairs.
Study objectives include identification of hop production and market opportunities in Ontario and evaluation of commercial hop cultivars through two market surveys conducted with hop producers and Ontario brewers, with results outlining market demand, pricing, format, packaging, labelling, and more.
