The Iron Brewer Competition

A very cool thing is currently underway. The Iron Brewer competition has been going for several years and is gaining more momentum every year. My friend Paul Dickey is the key driver behind a friendly competition among brewers, both small and large (not stature by the way).
There are only 15 brewers allowed in to the competition and are required to produce a beer that from a standard set of ingredients. This is a very sound way of bringing amateur and professional brewers together in a community of beer.
Each brewer is required to take photos of the equipment they use and must submit 10 litres of beer for the actual competition. Presentations will be at Six Pints Beer Academy on Friday, September 28th from 2:30 until 3:00pm and all beers will be judged by Master Brewers Association members.
