The craft brewing industry continues to expand in Western Ontario with as the The Strathroy Brewing Company edges closer to opening in the Strathroy-Caradoc municipality located just west of London.
The new microbrewery installed 7 fermentation tanks and a new brew house on January 14 at its facility located on the site of Strathroy’s old flour mill. The company has been in planning stages since May 2012, following owner Alex Martin’s purchase of the property in 2011.
Several pale ale recipes have been developed with test batches planned shortly after new brew house is operational.
A launch date has not yet been set.
