The Sweetness Scale: Ontario Cider – 2018
Dry or Sweet? Ontario-made ciders run the full sweetness gamut – there’s one for every palate. Use this guide as a reference when looking for cider at specific sweetness level. For this guide, we’ve chosen unflavoured ciders.
The ciders listed below are currently available through the LCBO, some grocery stores, and the producer’s cidery.
Cider sweetness is measured in residual sugar content rated in grams per litre (g/L), the same used to measure wine.
