Toronto’s Green Living Show features five gourmet beer masterclasses

green-living-expoThe  Green Living Show, Canada’s largest consumer show dedicated to all things green, runs from Friday, April 12 – Sunday, April 12 at the Direct Energy Centre in Toronto featuring five gourmet beer Masterclasses presented by The Brewers Plate and Ontario Craft Brewers.

The Masterclass schedule and outline are as follows:

Friday, April 12, 5.30pm – 6.45pm

5 x Local: great craft beer & great artisanal food

5 fabulous local brews and 5 food pairings to match fresh from Black Oak Brewery, Flying Monkeys Craft Brewery & Culinarium

Saturday, April 13, 12.30pm – 1.45pm

Tutored Tasting with the Experts

Join our panel of experts, Sonja North from Black Oak Brewery, Sean Norrisfrom Flying Monkeys Craft Brewery and Kathleen Mackintosh from Culinarium on a guided tour of 5 fabulous Ontario Craft beers matched with 5 delightful local artisan food pairings

Behind the scenes at Amsterdam Brewery!

Learn how Amsterdam’s fine beers are created and enjoy some exquisite food pairings. We’ve challenged Kathleen Mackintosh, Founder of Culinarium to seek out the perfect local food pairings to match!

Brews we are tasting include the Natural Blonde Lager, Big Wheel Amber and Boneshaker IPA

Green Beer, Green Cheese, Green Eggs and Ham!
