Union Jack Brewing brewing launches beer in draft balls

Sault Ste Marie – Union Jack Brewing has announced it is releasing its beer in draft balls – 20 litre plastic kegs ideal for throwaway use, according to Sault Online.
The 100% recyclable kegs are crushable and “a traditional coupler and carbon dioxide line can be attached to it, such as those found in home kegerators. It can also be outfitted with a party pump allowing its users to go totally off the grid.”
“Going into summer the draft ball is going to fix a problem many Northerners have, how to transport their beer for camping. It should also reduce the environmental footprint we Northerners work so hard to protect,” said Jordan Jack, Union Jack Brewing’s President, to Sault Online.
Draft balls are available now at the brewery’s retail store.
