Union Jack Brewing expands beer line into cans, LCBO soon
Rapid River cream ale @ Algoma pale ale
Sault Ste Marie – Union Jack Brewing Co. has announced it will release four of its most popular beers in 473ml can format including its Rapid River cream ale, 1870 amber ale, Algoma pale ale, and Lock City common, reports SooToday.
“The cans are a big developmental step for us,” said Union Jack’s president Jordan Jack to SooToday. “We can now proceed with getting our product into the LCBO, Beer store and local grocery stores.”
SooToday also quotes Jack saying, “craft beer fans could always buy a growler of our tasty suds at the brewery on Queen Street. The additional outlets to purchase the beer will offer our customers more stores closer to their homes to buy our beer.”
An LCBO launch is anticipated for Spring 2016.
