West Avenue Cider House releases hopped peach cider

Freelton – The Catalyst III Dry-Hopped Peach Cider launches this Friday September 29, 2017 from West Avenue Cider House.

The Catalyst III was made with 2500lbs of freshly pressed Niagara peaches and dry-hopped with Cascade hops from McConkey Farms in St. George, ON, add to a base of Golden Russet, Northern Spy, and Cortland apples.

Cider maker Chris Haworth says, “This is our first hopped cider release in a bottle and is intended to be drunk young so you are able to appreciate the delicate hops. Do not age this cider.  Notes of apricot, zesty citrus, sour candy, fresh cut grass. Hoppy bitterness rounds out the mouthfeel.”

Pick up The Catalyst III (5.5%) in 750ml caged-and-corked bottles through West Avenue Cider House’s retail store for $15 each.
