West Avenue Cider hosts Maple Taps Festival in March
Freelton – West Avenue Cider House is hosting their first Maple Taps Festival at the Hamilton-area cidery on Saturday March 3, 2018 from 12-5pm.
The maple syrup celebration features a market with local syrups, maple taffy, wood-fired maple bacon pancakes, maple marshmallows over a bonfire and three cider releases.
West Avenue’s new, featured ciders include Smokeshow Maple Cider, Frost Bite Bourbon barrel-aged cider with Ice Cider, and Firecracker – with added firecider, which is made in the traditional Quebec style in which cider is boiled to evaporate water and concentrate the cider and then fermented to 11% ABV.
Entry to Maple Taps Festival is free.
