Whet your whistle with these new brews
The second release on deck when Small Pony Barrel Works opens this Saturday in Ottawa is Orange Whisper – a blend of golden sour beers aged in oak barrels with Mosaic hops.
Also on Saturday, Toronto’s Rainhard Brewing is launching Armed N’ Mosiac and Harvest – a mixed-fermentation ale with Brett and bottle-conditioned for 8 months.
Barncat Artisan Ales in Cambridge is releasing Rat Queen de la Muerte – a Mexican chocolate version their imperial stout brewed with chocolate and Ceylon cinnamon then conditioned on vanilla beans, mulato, pasilla, and Guajillo chilli peppers. There’s also Barrel Aged Rat Queen aged nearly one year in Willet Rye whisky barrels. Available in bottles this weekend.
Seasonal Jubilation Winter Warmer returns from Grand River Brewing in Cambridge – out now at the brewery in 473ml cans.
The Exchange Brewery has released Bill NyE P.A. – a Vermont-style IPA. On draught now at the Niagara-on-the-Lake brewery.
Over in Windsor, a new Breakfast Stout dubbed Hash Brown is now on tap and in growlers at Sandwich Brewing.
