The William Street Beer Co. announces opening in Coubourg early 2014
The William Street Beer Co. today announced its intention to open a new 1,250 sq.-ft. brewery in Coubourg, ON in early 2014 at its namesake 412 William Street.
Brewer and owner, Sean Walpole, notes the new brewery will feature a 3bbl (4.7 hectolitre) brewing system with an annual production of 200bbl (235 hectolitres). A tasting room and retail store will be adorned to the brewery providing beer sales in 650mL bottle format.
“The idea for The William Street Beer Company revolves around the community in which it was conceived,” says Walpole. “Locally brewed craft beer, inspired by the community’s unique balance of agricultural and Great Lake marine heritage, will be available at the onsite retail outlet as well as in select restaurants in the area.”
Two core brands will be available from The William Street Beer Co. at launch including Cliff Top Pale Ale and North Shore Blonde later supplemented by a rotating seasonal selection.
