Willibald Farm Distillery now open in Region of Waterloo
Ayr – Willibald Farm Distillery is now open in Ayr – a Township of North Dumfries in the Regional Municipality of Waterloo – at 1271 Reidsville Rd.

Founded by Jordan Van der Hayden, Nolan Van der Hayden and Cam Formica, the distillery has been in planning and under construction for over three years.
“When we started this three and a half years ago there were just three small distillers in Ontario.” says Nolan Van der Hayden to the Cambridge Times.
The facility features a large tasting room and patio, retail store and group tours.
Willibald – named for Van der Hayden’s grandfather – intends to use is agricultural property to grow grains and botanicals. The distillery is implementing a closed-loop environmental strategy including spreading its waste products on the land and utilizing solar and geothermal power.
A barrel-aged gin will be available at launch.
The distillery opens Saturday April 15, 2017.
